We stopped in Curaçao for a day, and it was interesting, but I didn’t get the big draw. It’s not a place I’m interested in going back to. The big draw seems to be gambling or shopping, neither of which interest me.
There’s a cool fort that you walk through on arrival, which is a good entrance.
At this point, it actually started POURING RAIN, so we got stuck waiting for it to let up a bit.
We walked around with no real plan and no idea where we were going, just getting lost and circling around a lot to see whatever there was to see.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad day, but we weren’t excited about the “come here for good prices on jewels & high fashion”, so it’s not somewhere I ever see myself going back to in the future.
