Another day trip, up early to head to the small country in the midst of a legal battle over the king changing its name without asking anyone else how practical the idea is: Swaziland becoming eSwatini.
We went to the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and did a self-drive. It was $4 each to enter, what a deal!
Wildebeast, springbok, wood kingfisher, crocs, zebra, and lots of others. This was an awesome day.
We looked for hippos that are sometimes sighted here, but we heard it’s rare and that they had last been spotted about at another lake in the next town, so we struck out on that one. Next time!
